Note:

  • Prior to start calibration activity, required glassware shall be rinsed with the respective acid diluents as per standard bottle label. For example, use 1% HNO3 in case of calibration performing with Manganese & Nickel use 1% HCl in case of calibration performing with Chromium standard.
  •   The blank shall be prepared as similar to the rinse volumetric flask with the acid diluents. For 

  Example, use 1% HNO3 in case of calibration performing with Manganese & Nickel, and use

  1% HCl in case of calibration performing with Chromium standard.

  • The graphite furnace auto sampler wash vessel must be filled with suitable wash diluents. For example: Use 1% HNO3 for Manganese standard solution as a wash diluent.
  • Prior to calibration, graphite shall be checked visually and if any carbon deposition observed it shall be replaced with the new one.

1. Air-Acetylene flame test using Nickel Standard:
